lilvixen 26
Hi... Anyone know of any forthcoming shows in East Anglia in the next few months...? Suffolk Hunt this sunday. Do you have details/website? Thanks S.H.S.A The Kennels, Cocks Green Lane, GT Whelnetham, Bury St Edmunds Starts 12 noon. Qualifiers for most Championships- Taken from countrymans weekly... Edited to say, just to save some of you a wasted journey ...they are charging the public to go in therefore are not allowing docked dogs (obviously docked after April 6th 2007) into the show at all... just had this from the horses mouth. donnyc 1,203
Need to look forward in a few years who is going to go to the shows ?Terriers with undocked tails? the ones who were docked will not if you have to pay to get in.If you want to support working terrier shows you have let the entry be free. There are other ways to get over this but it seems not many even try
lilvixen 26
Neither can I. How about a donation? which I can't see many not giving or purchasing a 'programme' or schedule for the day instead of paying an entrance fee? .... For the big game fairs, why can't the terrier show be simply fenced off and away from the main show so that the public can't get in? Yep it's okay right now but just try pretending your young terrier was docked before the ban in ten years time when all the pre-docking ban terriers will be very old and grey! These show organisers are going to miss out if they don't put a bit more thought in!
