increasing text talk or just bad english

I'm only 14, but i bloody hate text talk. It's a load of rubbish. If i was a mod i would delete their posts and them. (It's a good job i'm not) lol

I've heard that frequent use of text-talk can actually lower your I.Q.

 

In a school where I used to work, the headteacher's spelling and grammar were so bad I had to go round behind her on a Monday morning and change all the diary notes on the staffroom whiteboard. I kept making the occasional comment about it but as it never improved I reached the stage where I just used to circle them in red pen. That's probably why they don't give me any more supply work. I know we can't all be perfect but I find text-talk just plain lazy.

Lol is an abbreviation of laugh out loud. Even the mods use 'lol' on here so i don't think it is classed as text talking. I'm not sure. :S

I hardly use txt talk for one i dont understand most of it and two i think its lazy to be honest

My spelling is crap but at least THE OLD GITS LIKE ME can understand it hopefully
