wexford Pa 84
Just bought myself a Parson Russell dog.. Picked him out today as he's only 5 weeks old and not ready to go yet. These pups are worker to worker bred and should make cracking workers.. There was no differene in size or anything so i picked out the lad with the nicest markings and my he is nice.. Was reading a topic on Parsons this week in the site before i bought one and seen some cracking looking dogs.. I already know a bit about some of these dogs and there temperament.. Just wanted to hear from lads on here what there OPINIONS about these dogs! Cheers guys! Quote Link to post

ferreter.al 22
my mate use to breed them out alincoln but they were from top show lines and it was more a money thing.he didnt really show them,he bouht them at about 4 years old but the were really good ratters and the dog once got in the chicken pen and nailed the lot.lol.all the best with your pup mate,i hope he works out for you,im sure he will Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Whatever happened to plain old 'Long legged' & 'Short legged' JRTs? Is there a difference? Some of my short type JRT's litter mates where what you'd call a 'Parson Russell'. Is it just people breeding purely from the leggy types? I always thought that 'Parson Russell' was just a name that the KC used for a leggy Russell. Not knocking the dog though, just a few confused thoughts! Quote Link to post
