adrianvygus 0 Posted May 15, 2009 Report Share Posted May 15, 2009 (edited) Good picture, last year there were four Hares in the field across the road from where I live, a stray Akita went in the field and started chasing them around till the owner of the dog arrived and then some nice police ladies who said that Hares were vermin so they couldn't do anything anyway! I managed to hold meself back from letting the old girl have ago, the farmer is one mean barsteward, and probably didn't shoot the Akita cos he didn't have a big enough gun! fireman 11,021 Posted May 15, 2009 Report Share Posted May 15, 2009 I walked my dogs out yesterday around my village and lost count of the number of hares i saw,i have counted over 100 one night within a mile of my house.There are more hares on some of my permission than rabbits,in a few words it's crawlling with them here.
