i dont think i would mate incase she passes it on to her kits but dont take my word for it as i really dont no,id put a snipped hob over her to bring her out of season.i would only breed of your strongest fittest proven stock.atb ferreter.al

have you ever had a blind ferret and should i breed off the mother

i have one with one eye. i have worked her and she dose the job i cant be sure if she misses anything on that side but she bolts bunnies.

i wouldn't breed from mine there are sooooo many healthy kits out there who's gonna want blind ones is it worth taking the risk i don't think so

she has something genetically wrong with her to be born with one eye her kits could come out missing limbs etc i wouldn't bother

as said cover her with a sniped hob

cheers i ve breed from my jill for the past 4 years and the blind one was the first deform out of 22 do you fink its time for now blood

no iv never had a blind ferret as i wouldnt have room for a blind ferret but its nice that you have kept it and looking after it.but as said before...the market is over run with healthy strong ferrets....you dont want to breed something that mite be a defect.atb

I have a blind ferret not what ive bred myself but one I picked up ,shes a good little worker but as far as breeding is concerned I wouldnt

never worked mine mabye i try her this season cheers after all the good advice decided to give hob the snip and introduce new blood when needed :clapper: thanks all
