what cartridges for 12g semi auto

hi guys looking for some help i have a 12g semi auto and the carts that have a small bit of brass are jamming.

what size, kind of carts will cycle without jamming? what prices? (for pigeons and crows)

any help would e great

6 32g i used same weight but with bigger brass bit and it was fine. does that help any???

not sure why that is but are they jamming as they are ejecting and getting stuck half way out because my escort does that with hushpower 32 6 subs but it will fire 24 gram eley first

 

only thing i can think is that the high brass have slighty more recoil. what makes are they(just been noisey)

 

is the semi gas or enersia

hi, is it a brand new gun or is it second hand? if it is brand new then it is perfectly normal for it to happen. i think it is because it is all stiff inside and it needs to be slackened in. if it is second hand then im not too sure, there could be lots of different reasons for it.

Hi some semi-autos struggle with 65mm(2,1/2") cartridges but you get 67mm too in (2,1/2") my Fabarm 6-shot jamed with the 65mm but 67mm & up it was great. The higher brass is pressure so the cartridge loaded can take more as in heavyer loads. Mine cycled light loads fine just not that reliable on 65mm stuff but if the gun is new it should work from the start. Try some 70mm(2,3/4") carts & see how that goes. I have a beretta urika 2 & it shoots every thing no problem.

thanks guys i thinkl the problem is the 65mm carts as ive used 67mm and 70mm and there fine.

just though id ask if that would have been the prob or was it my gun. thanks all

I have exactly the same issue with my Fabarm Eurolion, my gun will NOT cycle 65mm cartridges at all!!! 67mm or longer cartridges are no problem whatsoever, so my advice is stick with the longer cartridges

Mine is a lion 368 black/syn 6-shot 3-4yrs old & is great but it dose work the 65mm carts but is likely to jam at some point with them. As i said with the 67mm & up its faultless but i have kinda sold it now but the buyer aint paid in full yet but i still have it. I got the beretta urika 2 black/syn & it shoots 65mm nobother it aint jamed since i got it .

all semi autos are designed to cycle a 70mm 2/34" upwards shells yes i know berretas will cycle smaller also try not to go below 28g as this can also cause a problem the other problem is the gun you have is the lower end of quality if you buy a turkish you get that wonderful quality that is dodgy (these come from the same place as the escort and webly)

i have an 810c left handed webley and it doesnt miss a beat cycles anything thru it so far form clay loads to geese loads and no probs...believe there have been issues but mine is superb
