i was just out walking on a very good piece of land wich i dont have permission to shoot on but enjoy stalking animals for fun on (it's kind of like a place where i practise stalking rabbits and woodpigeons on....except without a gun). well i went down with the trusty binocs and realtree suit and spotted a group of 8 rabbits feeding at the other end on the field. so sticking close to cover and not making much sound i slowly stalked up to the rabbits until i was a mere 15 yards away with know heads popping up to look around and none of them bolting (i never usually get this close) i realised that there were more than 8 rabbits. there were 8 adults and 4 tiny kits. well i watched them for about 10 minutes and they slowly cam closerto me up to the point where 1 of the kits was only 5 yards away from me well just at the point where it couldent get any better a vixen emurged at the bottom of the field and slowly stalked up to the bunnys just as i did and was crouching 5 yards behind one of the kit bunnys. both the fox and the rabbits were completely oblivious to my prescence as i had no smelly stuff on, i was downwind and i was frozen, not moving a muscle. well the fox leapt high into the air the rabbits bolted and in a blink of an eye the fox had a baby rabbit stuggling in its mouth all 10 yards away from me. and just when i thought it could not get any better at all, 2 fox cubs emerged from the undergrowth to its mother to feed. i stayed there for another 20 minutes watching the cubs and the mother feed and the cubs play fighting. then they sluk away into the forest. i lay there. frozen with joy as that was the first time i had ever seen fox cubs that close. i am completly kicking myself for not having a camera. amazing watching foxes hunt and nature taking place that close to me.

You didn't need a camera mate, that scenario will stay with you for the rest of your life! (unless you get Alzheimers)! Cheers, D.
