Squirrel_Basher 17,100
The correct way to preserve a brush is to soak it in meths for a fortnight then shampoo it but this takes away all the foxy smell and becomes just a toy .Supervise pups with tails mate as any lumps of fur pulled off can cause choking . rob reynolds uk 3
i find if its for the pups to play with leave the bone in the brush as it will last a bit longer , and dont wash it, as they get to know the smell of a fox .which means fun to them later on Quote Link to post
thurso jack 3
ok will do, how long a period will it need to be in the freezer for? fletcher watch it! Quote Link to post
CumbrianJack 2
We always put salt into the end of the stump where the tails been cut & tie the end up with the bone still in the tail, hang it up somewhere to dry for a couple of weeks & the tail will be fine & fleas dead. Quote Link to post
