cab09 0
Since using my shotgun last season in both the rain and snow I have noticed slight stains on the stock. I dried the gun thoroughly after each time i used it, but not sure whether or not this has occurred when it has dried outside in the field itself after a heavy shower. I have tried waxing and also the Ballistol oil wipes - both give the stock a good shine and appearance but when I tilt it slightly and in certain light conditions I can still see the stainings/ marks.....has anybody got an ideas on how I can remove them?? [i know its a gun and it should get dirty and knocked about but I still like to keep it in the best condition I can] Many thanks CAB Quote Link to post

Thanks for the advice Fenbo, was a bit concerned as the stock has a gloss oil finish, I think (Beretta 682 Gold E Sporter), so not sure whether I would do more damage than good. Quote Link to post
