need help quick!!

my 2 jills have both just had there kits and they are fighting like hell could it because they are are in the same cage with both there kits if so i cannot split them now because all the kits are mixed up. does anyone know what i should do as im worried the kits wont get motherd by the right mother jill as they are fighting over who is feeding them im worried about the jills and the kits.

Doesn't matter if they're mothered by the right mother as long as they're being fed, the jills might calm down as the kits get older (you haven't said how old they are now). Personnaly if they were mine I'd take a jill and half the young ones and stick them in another cage.

neck pulling is just the hormones, they drag anything back to the nest, even each other, had it loads of times with jills having litters in the court, as long as theres no other ferrets in with them, Id just keep a eye on them for now, sometimes what we see as fighting, is normal ferret behaviour

Neck pulling no fighting there just pulling each other back into the nest it hormonal and should settle down its the same when the kitts first leave the nest the jill pulls them back in all the time
