Hunting Lad 50
Think to hunt the land you have to pay for the hunting rights. My mate runs a shooting synidicate on the forrestry commission land up near reeth they pay them every year for the hunting rights for the land think its a kanny bit aswell. Quote Link to post
idrusbaby 0
Thanks all for your replies. As suggested i have emailed the local Forestry Commision and they have said that licenses can not be granted because they have their own Forestry Staff who manage the animal population. The chap went on to say that without a license you would be breaking the law. I agree with those comments made by several of you on this thread "its legal until you get caught". He also suggested contacting local farmers for permission. Is it best to write to them or just drive up to their farm? Cheers again Craig Quote Link to post
Paid 935
Better to go in person, as letters are easy to ignore. I've always found it easy to get ferreting permission, but lamping is harder, and easier gotten if you've already got the ferreting permission, and done a good job causing no problems to the farmer.
