Guest ROUGH COATED
Just had my mate on the phone, she says a weasel has killed 40 of her chickens. She wants rid of it but hasnt got a clue where to start. Any ideas?

 

 

I would say a FOX,Plot up and see what happens!!!!! Let me no how you get on :good:

Well, she's adamant it was a weasel :blink: Says there is now way a fox could get in, there's just small holes big enough for a ferret sized animal? She also reakons thats how weasels kill their pray? I don't know - I know very little about them to be honest.

get a fenn trap or a live cage trap down there or if you know some one with a shotgun or rimmy or even an air rifle get him or her to shoot it.

 

shotgun or rimmy?! do you use dynamite to catch fish by any chance?? :gunsmilie:

it could be rats, last year at harvest time i went on holiday, when i came back a week later 10 of my chickens had been killed in the way you said but they where bantams. my mate that was looking after the chickens shot 1 rat while it was eating the chook
