I'm tempted to walk around my office and test your theory but I am very confident it would just court bad publicity from both males & females.

If you feel this is doing the cause good then carry on, somehow I feel that this just gives further ammunition to the anti's.

those photos were shown round the pub on sunday and as MR L says the lads all laughed and most of the girls made EEW noises but the overwelming reaction that i always get when i talk to people about shooting or snaring of hunting is "wow, can you take me out shooting some time i really want to see what its all about"

We all bitch amoungst ourselves, I am yet to see any real 'antis' coment on here. If a rabbit showed itself and I had a 308 to hand I would take the shot and I have to say there have been many worse pics on here.

 

Soon no one will post any interesting pictures for fear of getting a slagging off, keep your negative comments to yourselves, if you dont like hunting pictures go join a flower arranging site!

 

I just published a few rabbit pictures on my facebook profile and out of 400+ friends I received 1 'anti' style comment and that was from a mates daughter who is 16 years old and lives in the city!

I think the ones who are using the hand movments need to take a look at why they shoot, and if hand moments are all you can comment with why bother. Putting a erpsonce up.Shooting it not a right in this country like it is in some. We need to make sure that we don't loss it.

Its not right to such large caliber weapons like that, but for some of us its leagal.

We know what rounds like this do, i shoot foxes with 270win and upto 150 yrds bits come off. But i would not post it on any forum, people and joe public seeing photo like this may agree differenetly about what we can use, some of us are lucky enough to that condition on are tickets pic's like may get it taken away for every one so we need to think what we post.

But when we take shots like that we need to ask how safe it is meaning do the round expand properly and loss their muzzle engery and where will stop if the shot deflected which it will.

you are right, but i want to read and look at the posts ,not comments on whether you should or shouldn't do this or that , if its legal, everyone should be happy
