Guest hyperion
im catching rabbits quite well now with my snares but all i seem to be doing is feeding the local foxes! i set ten wires on friday night, they were blank on saturday morning and afternoon, checked them this morning and id had three but all that was left of them were two heads and the well chewed remains of the third! we have tried lamping the foxes but with no result so far, ive got some fox snares im loath to set them as until ive got my f.a.c/s.g.c ive no reliable method of humane despatch and although both my f.a.c holding shooting buddies have said they will come with to check them they wont do early starts or mornings even! HUMPH! cheers hyperion Quote Link to post

The one 8,456
You will need to pull your rabbit snares mate once foxy's found them they will be checking them all the time more so just now looking for a easy meal with cubs to feed .the only way round it would be a fox snare at each end of your rabbit wires Quote Link to post
