shotgun choke change

not asked yet but will do got the chance of a very cheap silver pigeon 3 fixed choke the guy wants to get rid of asap in nead of cash

what it choke out to now, no need to get it it bore out for choke, if you get used to it you still have to be on the target to hit it , and you could allways just use lighter shells ??? or heavier ones

yeah its possible enquired with local gunsmith over a similar situation got offered a cheap fixed choke miroku, he quoted £45 to bore out the barrels to the required choke or he could have teague chokes fitted to the barrels for about 400 if i remember right. Personally i would just shoot with the gun a while if its to tight get it bored out, getting a gun multichoked defeats the object of a bargain, plus it gives you something to worry about if you miss , should i change this should i change that etc. But it all comes down to personal choice and what fits the type of shooting you do i like imp cyl and 1/4 but my shooting mate wont use less than half. Hope you get sorted anyway

Markdog is spot on and I support everything he said including the imp cylinder quarter choke as that combination is good for the majority of rough shooting.

Yes it can be done by a gun smith there is a guy in gloucester his name is nigel teague he will do it for you.
