CumbrianJack 2
I ship my dogs all over the world, even reykjavik now has its first ever JRT from me! To ship to the USA or Canada the dog has to be over 12 weeks old & vaccinated + microchipped, must also have a full health check & health certificate as well as acclimation certificate from the vet 24hrs before leaving. They must travel in a Vari airline crate in the hold, some routes are via Heathrow only & others you can get from Manchester, most of ours have flown via Manchester to Chicago then onto a connecting flight to whatever state or country. Costs £150-200 for the flight which isn't too bad i don't think. Trust me its far easier to ship to the states or canada than it is to europe, europe requires a pet passport & some of the airlines are steep £700 one person paid for a flight to spain for her pup! Its really nice though to hear back from the people especially when the dogs grown up & is working quarry which we don't even have here or aren't allowed to work here, such as Sweden they are still allowed to work dogs to badgers.
