Is it just my kids school? It seems near enough every week they ask my kids to bring a pound in for something, if it's not one thing it's another.

Today there's a travelling theatre company in there, and they want a pound. When I was a kid, you didn't have to bring in money for these type of things.

I know a pound is only a pound, but I've got two kids there, and it's a pain in the arse remembering when or what they need money for. What makes it worse, is that the teachers jump on you when you go to pick the kids up, asking for the money, and virtually bollocking you in front of all the other parents for daring to forget to put your hands in your pocket.

I'm sure that the headmistress is a female version of Mr. Fiddler from Carry on Camping. Pound for this, pound for that, bring your own cakes to our sale, then pay to take the fuckers home again.

Grabbing b*****ds that they are....

Rant over! :D

Know what you mean. Non-uniform day and the like. WTF are teacher training days about??? On the job training? Lmao! Maybe if the c**ts actualy tried to educate instead of indoctrinate the kids would get somewhere.

My lads school is a nightmare! we get letters home about him being late for class, we get letter for him being late to school, we get letters telling us he has a detention and so on! finally we now have a letter Inviteing us to discuss his attendance . he had sometime off at the beggining of the year due to Illness and there after seem to catch everything that was going, all this was documented with his Doctor! yet they still feel we need to discuss a plan with them to improve his attendance even though he hasn't had a day off for months....

Its all want want want and Red Tape these days.......
