Boar with dogs

Was out with the dogs last night and came across a boar, was wondering if it is ok to feed the dogs the carcass?

I'd boil it in case of worms first, if it's anything like normal pork. Maybe someone else will have a more definitive answer though!

Don't think I am going to bother, bad enough for us if you don't cook it properly so I think I could do a bit of harm so not going to bother.

Butcher it, freeze it, and eat it.......

It's in the freezer now so hog roast sunday anyway

So long as its frozen for a few weeks, it'll be sound. I don't tend to buy pork to feed my dogs on but if I happen to come across some that would other wise go in the bin I sling it to the dogs.

 

Just leave it freezing for a month to be safe.

normal pigs etc are very rich when raw even more so than horse. i have always been told not to to feed it, i would think wild boar would be along the lines of the normal domestic pigs as being too rich. i wouldnt feed it.
