woollyback 0
I've had my FAC 3years now, and when I filled my form in for the grant I put down .22rf and .243 under the purchase/aquire section. About a year ago I applied for a variation for a .223 with mod and a .308 and was accepted. My question is: When you fill in your initail grant form whats the most amount of different calibres your allowed, or is there no limit? Do different constabularies have seperate views on the matter? My cousin is wanting to apply for the same calibres as myself, 22, 223, 243 and 308 is that likely to pass? woollyback Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
You can have as many as you can justify. Equally, with no experience eyebrows will be raised if you ask for a cabinet-load of centrefires. Quote Link to post
arveyboy 0
exactly as MR L says. they may question why your cousin needs a .243 and a .308 or a .223 and a .243. as long as he can explain why he needs each calibre the police aren't allowed to refuse him certain calibres. unless of course he has a lack of experience Quote Link to post
