hi spezzer

i use AA field & accupels both very good in my S410. the AA pellets do suite these rifles and a couple of other brands.

have a look at this link they are doing a sample pack of many different

http://www.pellpax.co.uk/acatalog/Pellpax_SAmple_Packs.html

so all you need to do is get your rifle zeroed and take ten shots of each pack and the ones you get better groups with stick to "simple" and the sweet point of the S410 is between 160 bar to 105 bar hope this helps

happy grouping

i have both std and carbin ..

as with all guns no matter if the make is the same each barrle will take better to some pellets than others.. i would advise testing 10 - 15 dif pellets ranging from 13.5 - 15.5 grins,

I find that Jsb altho are pritty much the same as the daystate 16 grain the jsb exact are a very small amount longer in the body and are alot better in none or low winds, the new rangemaster daystate pellet sucks ass.. short and heavy, webley accupel and powa pell are also 2 very good pellets i would only use the powerpell flats for close range shots ie no more than 15 years ( for air shots ) after that they move to much

so i would say JSB 500 a tin around £9.00 - £11.00 best pellet ( i also use this pellet in my FAC S410 ) grouping of 5 pence at 50 yards to 120 yards. 50 yards and under is same hole each time..

so over all my top 5 are

JSB exact

webley acupell

Daystate Ft pellet

Webley Mosquito Express

Daystate powapell

Blackpool airgun centor ( masive range of pellets fast delivery ) and low price :p

but always try dif pellets under diff conditions also, as rain, wind and temperature will all affect the flight and MV and ftp, also i would advise u never to fill your s410 over 190 bar as in most cases the hot spot is from 180-175 - 115 and NEVER!! store your rifle on low or empty preshires

If u want any advise on how to look after your S410 plz just ask.. am always happy to give advise as a gunsmith.

look after your rifle and she will lokk after you :p and get you many kills..

Slightly off topic I know.......

Been using accu pell .22 in my HW57 for quite a few years and have found these very good. Recently purchased a new HW100 and was given a tin of .177 FX pellets, they seem ok so far but as you know its a totally different ball game going from spring to pcp.

I have ordered one of the pellet sample packs to do some testing along with a tin of accu pell in .177.

Different rifle I know but i'm real interested in seeing if there is such a difference. After years of using the HW57 spring at a max. of 35 yards (own choice) for hunting the HW100 has opened up another potential 10 - 15 yards of kill zone. No substitute for research I guess.
