PLEASE HELP!!!!

my friends jilll has gotten really ill, she has a swolen throat and there is puss coming for her mouth, unforntunately he cant afford the vet call out charge as he has no money, any ideas what this could be and what we can do about it, shooting it isnt really an option as its a much loved pet he doesnt work it

Only a vet can give you a qualified opinion on whats wrong with the ferret trying quack remedy's wont help your ferret mate i don't think there's anybody on here who has veterinarian qualifications to help you and I'm sure any vet will let you pay up any bill

hi i think eny good vet would help and let you pay a bit at a time if they dont change the vet mate

Don't know why this tickled me think theres something wrong with me lol. How about the ferret rescue in newport maybe they can help? maybe worth a ring just to see if theres something they can do? He has to get it seen too even if it means giving it up! Not sure what the place is called but i could find out if you want? Good luck.

all I'm saying is if he cant afford the treatment. he needs to put his own feelings aside and do whats right by the animal IE either give it up to a rescue and they will treat it but he wont get it back, or end end its suffering

 

you here it all the time where peoples attachment to a animal lead them to prolong its suffering (quite often with the vets help) so that they can keep them with them for a bit longer.

I'm just being realistic if treatment can not / will not be got for an animal, i would rather see it shot than left to suffer.

whats happened with the ferret ,has he taken it anywhere where it can have treatment ,sounds like an abcess ,if he really carnt afford treatment for his animals wouldnt it be better to rehome some of them then he will have cash to treat the ones hes kept
