Kye 77 Posted June 23, 2006 Report Share Posted June 23, 2006 Whats strange is that our Stags have a rough to broken coat, and they have ran hares in 75F and although they have been hot, once they have had a wash down with cold water and rapped in a cold towel, after five minutes they have been ready for another (but i have never ran them again in that heat!...no hare is worth my dogs health).. But the best weather for the Stags seems to be around the 25-40F...should have plenty of that this fall/winter!... Kye,.. Quote Link to post
