danny boi 0
afetr many stern exchanges of words with my mum i decided to get other peoples views on this subject, i have a beddy/whippett and she does live indoors after a fight to get her outside in the end i gave in she's my first workin dog(but deffinately not the last!) but after a few little scrapes while out working my mums view is that a dog that lives indoors like ours does isnt cut out for working! but however i have seen what this dog is like out on the lamp and ferretting ect and she is a different animal!! i think after the incident with her tail she doesnt want me to work her anymore but i can see so much potential!! so all in all what do people rekon to dogs that live inside?? are they any different to outdoor dogs? thanks dan Quote Link to post

wunwin 0
Mine have their own room in the house, are pets as well as workers, and it doesnt affect them at all. It doesnt make them soft, it probably gives them a longer working life, as they dont get arthritis so easily, as they have been kept in the warm instead of a cold kennel. Quote Link to post
brock 11
the only small disadvantage would be the dogs coat would be alot thinner so would feel the cold more on a cold night, but apart from that it doesnt change a dogs instinct to run and catch Quote Link to post
