Hello, Chaps. I have been told by the landowners and keepers where I do most of my Pest Control etc. I need to get my FAC to go forward into the future. I have permissions to shoot on various land, But I'm a traditionalist and prefer to work the ferrets and dogs etc. ( I remove thousands per year ). I do pest control for a living and I am fully insured, qualified etc in all these departments. I recently went on a job to shoot some rabbits with a gentleman I know and he used his 17 HMR, I will never use a Rapid 7 again.lol. The time has now come for me to take the next step and -

Had my Benelli Vinci Since July 13, really like it (looks hideous without the extension tube on) I've been looking for aftermarket parts, bolt handles, bolt release buttons etc, but I'd have more luck finding hens teeth! Has anybody else had any luck finding aftermarket parts for them??

Hi I am looking to sell my howa 223 stainless heavy barrell. it's a accurate and cracking gun it comes with scope bag and some bullets I will have a count up but proberly around 60 rounds also spare heads powder and primers I am looking for £750 it is in excellent condition and won't let you down. Hi, I've put in my FAC and got a visit tonight, he advised me to go co-terminous, so will do. This looks very promising to me getting a 17hmr am 223. I have looked at the Browning, could anyone clarify the difference between X-bolt and A-bolt?? I like the look of a Stainless barrel, but is it ideal when foxing with a lamp? Will the fox notice the whiteness of the barrel in the light? Many thanks

I was just wondering if any one could help me with a little problem I have at the moment, Iv recently started a new job as a pest control technicion and have been told that I will be doing some rabbit/bird work in the near future but we only use air rifles so after talking to the company I have been thinking about getting an air rifle that is more powerful than 11 ft lb but how would I go about applying for a FAC what would I have to write on the form.....Hope someone can help me, Cheers. -
just wondering how long it was to get your fac license start to finish in your area has iv been waiting 5weeks so far and the interveiw with feo was 3weeks ago so probley still a bit to wait

Well guys i just got back from a 3 day fire course to find my FAC had arrived!! Sent away the paperwork on the 12th of may, had my interview on the 31st of may and FAC was delivered to my house on 15th of june. So 36 day in all, not bad i'd say! Gave a quick call to my local gun dealer and went for a look this afternoon.. Ended up buying a new CZ 452 style 22" in .17hmr and a A-tec mod never got a scope or rings so any suggesting would be welcome, thinking of something with 12 or 14 mag, budget maybe around £200-£250. Lucky for me a customer had just come back with a CZ -

I am thinking of applying for an FAC and SGC soon but I am under 18 so I cannot buy my own ammo or rifles/shotguns. As none of my parents hold a certificate can they buy the gun or ammo for me and then register it on my certificate or does someone with a certificate have to buy them for me. Also does this apply to private sales or just guns bought from a RFD. P.S. Is it true that all certificates in scotland are open? J
