Hi lads , Been fishing years , known plenty of lads who hunt always interested in it , got a dog two weeks a back a saluki whippet , fathers of bog warrior coursing bitch in uk , mother full whippet . Hoping to use my dog for hunting when it gets to 10 month mark , lamping rabbits mainly . Just looking for tips on training. Never owned a dog so hard to train , still very intelligent though . Evening all, I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other. Help Required as to ancestry /history of my saluki /Greyhound. I have just lost my dog of a lifetime to cancer, she was 11/12 yrs old.I am truly heartbroken. I'm not a hunter,but have always loved sight hounds in particular salukis. My dog Fern was a very distinguishable sighthound ,her colouring alone a mutated dilute. Was quite a show stopper. I'd have people literally stopping cars to ask what she was as she held herself well and looked awesome. She was Steel and tan with a white butterfly on chest. White tips on feet. Hi guys So I've got a lurcher, loki (lives up to his name) lovely boy gentle nature. Softie and is so gentle with other animals great with rats kittens the lot I just cannot fault him. Loki is 3 years old this April 6th. So when I got loki he was a pup, 8 weeks. He was socialised with young and adult dogs from a young age and gradually left for short to longer periods of times with toys and other entertainment ext. All done properly. Hi, I’m a new member on this and I have created this to ask who is the best breeder for saluki working lines. Is it John lennon? I have had Salukis in the past from khan jihad and dessert fox lines and I’m looking for another saluki now that would be top for hare coursing. I have heard John lennon Breeds the best working Salukis. Is that true? If so, is there anyone else who has better working Salukis or not? I have been looking on preloved and Pets4Homes but haven’t found a good one.

Anyone any info on this because i think he was in my house last year and was into coursing all his life just wanted to know if its the one im thinking of hes fromth UK somewhere not sure but wherever it was he had a very strong accent lol sounded a bit like Fred Dibnah from TV.....
