Once upon a time, just down the road from here, I was served the most delicious cottage pie, it was made with venison from a roe deer. To this day I have yet to try making one with venison, and unfortunately I am unable to ask the person who made it for me for the recipe. BUT, I will be having friends in from Horsey for the weekend, and I would love to attempt to make one for us to have for dinner one evening. My problem is the length of time to cook the venison before putting it in the pie, so as not to undercook or overcook the meat by the time the whole cooking process is complete. I al
