What Deer Calibre For First Deer Rifle.

Used 7x57 for over 30 years now, I have other deer legal calibers but adore the good old 7x57 -
On my 1417 lh thumbhole I use a zeiss 4.5-14×44 with z plex reticle, outstanding optics used price they can be found for around the £ 400_450 mark ,good combination. Good luck with your selection

Just wanting to make my presence known , im very keen on deer stalking,foxing and rifle shooting,I love watching my dog working the ground for the telltail signs of the strike ! Hope to pick up some helpfull tips off this forum, kind regards to all on this site . Derek
