3 lurchers(1, is 7month pup) 3 terriers, 1 whippet, they get on well, only probs when a bitch is season, but the lurcher bitch and terrier bitch came in together so it wernt bad, just walk them seperately, but wouldnt like to leave them all loose in back garden as the old terrier will jump in if a fight breaks out, but out in the field they are great

i wouldve thought, if his smaller dog is exceptionally fast, it would be yards ahead of yours before your got into its stride, lets face it a 27/28inch dog aint got the acceleration of a little 22inch dog, ive got a 22inch bitch thats explosive on take off and it would be away before the big gangly 27inchers got into gear,jmo

my lamping partner is a young lass and she is very dedicated, and she,ll put most of the cyber hunters on here to shame as regards to what she,s done with her dogs this season, small or big quarry,all i can say is keep hunting girls, the more people coming into fieldsports the better male or female,cheers hairyface

this year me and my lamping partner has had 4 between us, and believe it or not due to niggly injuries theres times when we havnt had anything to run, this year we'll have 2 pups to bring on aswell so thats 6, but we are out, every fri,sat and at least once thru the week, if the weathers there it can be up to 5/6 times a week, and i'll sqeeze a nights ratting as well for the terriers, as long as they are getting plenty of work, good grub and clean dry kennel, and youve got the time to give them a couple of clean out walks everyday i dont think you can have too many

i forgot to add, if i get my oil for free, i can make it for as little as 15p a litre, so for every 100litres i put thru my 4x4 i save £95

some valid points made by a few of you , im running a crewcab hilux 2.4 td on 100% biodiesel which i make myself. as its been said ,some filling stations do sell a "biodiesel" but that is actually 95% fossil diesel 5% biodiesel, bosch fuel pumps can cope with chucking new veg oil straight into the tank with fossil diesel, whereas lucas pumps cant. but everybody is jumping on the bandwagon and at the shops local to me,they have hiked there prices up from 37p a litre to 98p a litre for new oil so its barely worth it. what i do is put 80litres of used veg oil(which i pick up from various pubs),

i agree with dith shitter, lets be honest, keeping on the right of a farmer is better than the wrong side, now ive got 4700 acre of permission, and all thats down to helping farmers from time to time, i used to be a farm worker for different farmers then i went self employed and worked for farmers tempory or part time then when i worked for an agricultural contractor i came into contact with other farmers, so now even though im a coalman ive got a lot of contacts,and therefore obtained all this permission, and some of the farms i go to ive got full run of the place, i can turn up as and when,

£7.50 for a full tank mate how do you make the bio fuel could do with some myself nice lamping motor pal but dont wipe everything out local for us boys on foot firstly get yerself a ETRUK100, from etruk.com about £1495 + vat, fill it with used veg oil, mix some caustic in with some methanol to make methoxide then add the methoxide to yer vegoil mix it for 1hr and let it settle for 8hrs so the glycerine drops out, then neutralise it with some vinegar then wash the oil and then dry it, then what your left with is homemade biodiesel, sound complicated but easy once youve -

i see the pic was taken on a filling station forecourt, going by the fact its a 4.2 im assuming it,ll be a thirsty bitch, especially when she,s hammering down country roads and fields, my hilux is only doing 20 mpg with greenway macho,s on, in the same style of driving, but fortunately i make my own bio so it works out at £7.50 a tank full instead of £65 at the pump, good hunting boys,cheers HF -
