  2. going by the number of rabbits you see driving up the A69 i wouldve thought anywhere between brampton and hexham would be good

  4. now your talking craftycarper!! 90% of my wet dream 25yrs ago were because of kate bush, and she,d still get a portion today, lol so if yer on here kate get yerself up to cumbria for a nights lamping
  5. ive got a whippet thats of sooty sam lines, he,s 22.5inch ats and around 36/37lbs, and his stamina and recovery rate are quite impressive, which shocked me as i thought they were plugged after 300 yard dashes, but he does suffer the next day as he looks like a rescue case, the weight just drops of him, as for the cold, he wont go out side for a piss if its raining, lol but if your out in the field and he,s mooching about it doesnt bother him at all, but if he has to stand about for too long you can tell he aint happy,
  6. well done will,as you know if you sat in until it was perfect weather , you,d never be out .you can get crap results in perfect conditions and good results in poor conditions, good do, cheers HF

  9. i think theres a difference i think a dog thats classed as a real deal bull x, has obviously been tested or shouldve been tested and excelled at the full spectrum of quarry or its chosen quarry/quarries before its classed or can be classed as a real deal bull x, but a real deal foxdog(bull blooded) cant be classed as the same if it only excels at fox and nothing else, in my eyes its just a very good fox dog, period, this is just my opinion, cheersHF.
  10. as samba says he,s a decent fella,he bred my 1st lurcher, he had a saluki dog pup with him last i saw him, theres a good chance he,ll be there tomorrow
  11. well done mickyrich, to all the slaters, how are you supposed to test yer dog if you dont try and push yer dog to the max and see if it can get big numbers and it always amazes me how many folk think that as soon as it gets dark hares automatically cant f*****g run lol, as i said well done mate
  12. no disrepect mate why dont you keep your stupid comments to your self know alot about bulls do you mate ????? no need to get the hump with the fella, he,s only stating his opinion.. but ive got a question for yer, WHY WOULD IT BE A GOOD BITCH TO PUT A PATTERDALE OVER, surely if someone has a good working patterdale it would be better putting it over a good patterdale/fell/lakeland bitch not a staff, as theres bound to be a percentage of wastage in the 1st litter,ie, too big. this is just my opinion, hope the bitch gets a good home
  13. just heard from a bloke that traveled over this morning that they were pulling cars ONTO the field with tractor cause it was that wet, was gonna go but not sure now
  14. am out tonight, its raining heavily out west, downside is, is theres still lots of crop standing, but we,ll see what occurs
  15. i think the best way for a dog to kill a fox is grab it by the tail and swing it round and bang its head on a gate post sorry folks.....just trying to lighten the moment.lol
  16. thats some statement, by that token i bet theres a hell of a lot of good dogs(that do fox regulary) in the uk not worth keeping, how does that work then, do they need to catch 7 in a night once a week 7 in a night once a fortnight 7 in a night once a month 7 in a night once a season or do they need to do 7 in a night everytime they go out to be worthy of keeping, as stej said you must have some very very good dogs in your yard, or there again you maybe aint got any, lol, not picking a fight its just some statements thats made on here are laughable, be nice to see 7 in a night.cheers HF.
  17. 240 blitz, is better for them big fields and off back of van job 170 striker, is a very good handy lamp but lacks the distance 140 lance, is in a class of its own when ratting in sheds/barns buildings.jmo,HF
