    1745s will send 44.cal leads and 50 cal steel flying! Its a great tube for hunting IMHO, not so much for plinking. I shoot doubles 1745s 7 inches active length stretch to about 40" and half inch steel! GREAT combo for hunting. Cheers mate!

    All the above are right on, PPSG smaller, more compact, smaller fork gap, which is the reason new shooters fork hit the crap out of it. PPMG bigger, a bit heavier, way bigger fork gap, and wider fork tips, the handle its a bit longer also, makin it better for larger hands, I have shot both, and I kept the PPSG, its better fit for me. By the way i shoot 28mm to 22 mm TBG on my PPSG without problems. Cheers!

    No sure why the HATE on Martin in this site, he is a straight up gent! He is a great craftsman and a great person to deal with, TOP NOTCH quality products made to order. If i was you I will STAY AWAY from Bill Hays stuff, Not worth the price AND WAITTTTTTTTTTTT! I own a couple of frames from Martin and they are crackers mate! Cheers! But as it said before how are you gonna improve on the PPSG!

    Thanks for the advice mate, I think my bands can be about 1/2 to 3/4 inches shorter! Will see what happens! What are you bands cut to in relation to your draw length? Cheers.
