  1. Don't mind a bit of banter or even a robust conversation but I detest really nasty people who attack others to try to get at me! And back to the whippets - I hope we are moving towards a resolution because a lot of good hearted people with the breed's and fair's interest at heart are prepared to make a principled compromise . Well that is some good news. Thanks.
  2. Albertj you have some job - having to listen to these boys! Now back to the whippets! ☺
  3. Been a while I know but did your pal get sorted? What did he go for?
  4. Firstly moaners will always moan! Regardless it has to be up to the judges and organisers on the day to decide who is elegable to run in any race. With the decision being final. I don't think kc papers should be used to decide entrys for the whippet racing as this simply excludes too many people and dogs. Surly the judges on the day will know a whippet from a small lurcher / longdog. The whole thing is supposed to be fun and can't be an exact science but as in any sport one must respect the ref!
  5. Just a thought but why not have a race for 'full' greyhounds as well? I think it would be an excellent idea and a great spectacle, why should full bred coursing greyhounds not be seen in 'the field'!
  6. Whippet racing existed before the KC or IKC. At the very least there should be racing for unpapered whippets and not in the lurcher class. A sad ruling for the whippet racing fraternity as so many dogs and families will be excluded. We are whippet folk not lurcher folk!
