Go and see JPR heard he's a cracking doctor!!..no seriously i know it's your wellbeing that counts but 7k is hell of an amount and sometimes a cancellation pops up on those waiting lists, especially with a push from your GP, good luck whatever you decide to do ..i'm judging from a few of the posts you're a prop!!!?
  3. Lovely thanks, will get up there soon, done Pen y fan, two weeks ago, the hardest part was trying to find a car parking space!!..lovely weather at bottom but windy as hell on top, caught me out!..nice pics by the way, can't beat a nice family walk in those surroundings.
  4. Lovely walk in this weather, didn't realise you could do activities there though, in that last photo are they climbing down with a rope attached can't quite make it out, my young one would love that!!!
  5. Yep, and there's me thinking it would be nice to have a big forum meet up one day,all the terrier/dog guys , swapping stories,dog talk, meeting new friends etc...couple of pints and a bite to eat ...Imagine the carnage after a few rough ciders down our necks!!..OK CORRAL..haha

  10. ..its nice to see you sending in digging posts in keeps the site healthy,I actually are with some of your comments,but when u jump down someones throat because u disagree with a comment, accusing them of allsorts,...does it matter how little experience a guy has?..with all of your said knowledge try passing it on in a courteous manner and help the future generation...I wouldn't have to spend all day on my phone typing this nonsense then!!!
  11. we're talking about entering a 10 month old terrier into an earth where there is a possibility of it fronting up to a fully grown fox,and probably ruining the dogs future..no I'm not anti but got a certain respect for my quarry, unlike you it would seem..giving it the big one,digging in May,..have u never "stumbled" across a Vixen with cubs down under,seems to me you're all talk no trousers,give people respect and you'll reap the rewards,instead of trying to bully your way through life.

I think from that post it shows how much terrier work youve done over the years! ? so why are you even commenting on here with so little knowledge? was out digging at the start of may, old dog marked a fox, there was absolutely no sign of cubs. no flys no bones feathers nothing and it certainly wasnt a polished entrance, anyway an experienced dog was entered who had a good few seasons under its belt, dog was baying. after quite a while of the dog digging on broke through about a metre. dog was wedged solid and still baying, pulled him out and shone up the pipe with a torch there was 5 cubs and
  13. Because it will be in her maternal instinct to defend her young and herself...ie,putting up a greater fight than any cub.
  14. Not into air rifles these days but you brought back some memories then with the old Meteor, Vulcan etc. .my first was BSA Airsporter underarm load, others being Diana,Tempest pistol,then finally a Weirach Hw80..welcome on your return,and good luck on your scooter! !

  17. Hi all, clocking in from S.Wales,kept terriers 20 yrs ago then packed it in...starting to get a taste for it again, no dog as of yet,but on the lookout!!..enjoy your hunting and the countryside.
