  5. consider two points, both of which i have touched upon. first, are the prey species running to very low numbers, thus causing the wolves to explore different food sources? secondly, have the wolves been food- habituated to humans, in other words have they been finding human-related food supplies such as livestock or garbage dumps or pets, which cause them to associate humans with food? Really .... thanks for the film saluki, very nice footage. but what is your point, does that film somehow answer my questions above? if the prey had run thin on the ground, and that cameraman had
  6. We will be getting one when we put the burner in next year. Try as I might I just can't get my head around the science of them though.
  7. I'd love to live off grid, but not with a bunch of f***ing hippies like that!
  8. It's great to hear hunters appreciate wildlife in such a spirited way..,... Hahaha. There is a reason large predators are extinct in the UK. If you think the badger is over protected, just wait until the 're-wilding' lobby start getting their legislation through parliament...
  9. In the U.S. 2 Muslim truck drivers were fired for refusing to drive loads of beer. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (an agency of the U.S. Government) successfully sued the company on the drivers' behalf, securing damages of $120,000 each. http://www.livetrucking.com/muslim-truck-drivers-who-refused-to-haul-alcohol-awarded-240000-in-religious-discrimination-suit/ Compare and contrast this with the case of the Christian baker who refused to bake cakes for homosexual weddings, http://aclu-co.org/court-rules-bakery-illegally-discriminated-against-gay-couple/ Or t

  16. I remember reading about 'Token' in EDRD. Those dogs seem unbelievably tiny to me, but I've never dug a ground hog so don't know what is required...

  20. I'd say your wrong there as well. It's not that wolves are lacking in bravery, but as a wild animal they have a healthy self preservation instinct, as a wounded wolf which cannot hunt will starve to death. The thread below shows Serbian pit bulls and Turkish kangals being eaten by wolves. These are European wolves, so a bit smaller that the North American timber wolf, but still plenty big enough. WARNING GRAPHIC PHOTOShttp://carnivoraforum.com/topic/10039802/1/ That said, they are quite happy to fight to the death for territory or breeding rights amongst their own kind. You know the leadi
