Hi all, Would you run lurchers on pea field stubble if there is any. Just checking to be safe. Rog

Its pulled from one end, if you think about it the first and the last pins pull first and then in sequence toward the centre of the net. All of the drop arm where up when it was pulled.

Good going, nice baskets. Regards Rog

Nelson basket looks the nuts. Couple of questions can you fit 100yds of 6 oz in them? And do 12mm fibre grass poles fit the basket? 13 No poles Regards Rog
-
Any chance you put some pics up of the baskets in question I'm after a couple of new ones just so we can see what they r like Rog

Just one side of the net

It's black American walnut not bad bit of wood for £50

No kick plates I just use a steel pole to make a pilot hole for the poles in hard ground. A foot plate would make the pole bulky. Rog.

No did doesnt take too long to set up. It light weight which speed up getting into position and in soft ground the poles push into the ground quite quickly. It has bobbins on the drop poles so you only have to wrap the head and foot lines onto which doesn't take too long. Half hour in soft soil Rog.
