well put fella.....i used to have mine on a 17 amp battery ....never out of power, and had holes in the posts instead of spades....wired them up tight....bit of gaffa tape for good measure the best connector i had was to cut the coil lead....and fit a lawnmower type two pin plug connection on.....this way if the dogs caught the lamp lead as they bundled out the widow or door....it was a fast and sure connection to plug back in....the worst thing in the world is a dog pulling the lamp out of the door to smash the lamp or hurt itsen if still moving.... throe them quick blow fuses out th

i can understand that, its the long term complications were worried abaht, the pup may be better with someone who wants just a strong dog for companionship, were attached to him, but the prime directive is to have a dog who is capable, without having injury other than what comes with the job. the bringing on is upto us....but its hard to be keen to put all the required effort into a dog that can only ever give you less than what you put in.

early to start....early to quit.......a young dog might show willing , but its still just that...young. the day after if its endured any trauma , it will often have a lasting effect....pups are best left being pups and i echo the opinions of you know when your own dog is ready....not to be confused when your ready mind

eyup folks.....heres my dilema....i bought a 38/58ths pup for the lad n me, to get back in the game after a long layoff.... i took the lad to view this pup at 6.5weeks old....he was full of character and i allowed my judgement to become blurred by my lads enthusiasm for the pu and my enthusiasm for my lad... hes out of some solid stock....mam n dad featured on here....`golly x honey`, i noticed at the time of viewing that one foot was a little flat.....but i`ve kept bull x`s for a long time in the past and know there feet arnt sumtimes the best... as hes growing the foot in quest
