I know lads wont be happening again way too scared he'd get caught and I'd ruin him before he even started it was just a moment of madness we were only walking the dogs and this f****r of a fox comes trotting accross the field i took pie straight off him and tied him up and let him watch the older dog do the job but wont be happening again trying to keep him out of the fields and plenty of road walking keep him on his toes and well fit

I recently posted a topic asking for advice on training my first ever pup, I received some good friendly advice but also some negative comments from some people, thanks to everyone for there helpful advice ive decided to just keep one pup and put my time into him rather than 2 ive taken photos for the negative people of my pup his first kill and his first fox(he didn’t kill it mostly watched as hes still so young but showed great interest even took a bite J and found out his breeding both parents are 3/8 5/8 bull hounds ive attatched pictures of parents and other dogs from same breeding also h

Can anybody tell me how I can attach photos from my phone to this topic please

Thanks Carlton chase and tb25 all I have is my phone camera its not great but have some pics on it which I am uploading now I'm in both pics I'm building a proper pen Saturday will get some cool pics of me and the pups and I'll get some of parents as well thanks for the reply and advice I've noticed alot of posts have a lot of people who are really quick to jump on the keyboard and dish out unesscesary grief to beginners thanks for the help lads

And Sandymere I know I just said bull x greyhound I'm just not 100% on the breeding beyond that but I will find out there obviously not first cross bull greyhounds the mothers are smaller with huge bull heads very fast dogs but the father is an absolutely huge dog very strong and both pups seem to be coming along to look just like him I'll find out the breeding exactly and post some pics, thanks again for all advice guys.

Thanks everybody for advice and replies this website is really well done and helpful, I've already been given advice on having the 2 of them at the same time and about taking time with each pup one on one and also rotating on which pup I take out to make sure they have plenty of time to learn, I have some friends who have been at this a lot longer than me but they seem so keen to start the pups so quick but I've had some advice from a guy who told me if I rush them into something that bites back I'll regret it because they could easily be turned off if they get a bad bang back from something,

Hi all, im a new member on the site this year is my first having my own pups, ive been lamping and digging the last 2 years now with a good friend of mine and decided its time i had my own dogs, just looking for some advice or opinions from others on how early to start them and how long to wait before testing them on harder game with older dogs, will get some pics up soon of the 2 pups they are half brothers from the same father hes a huge solid dog quick for his size i think hes bull x greyhound ive seen him do all game some single handed work also and both mothers are bull x greyhound breed

New member on this, looking forward to using the site and getting some other opinions from like minded people
