  1. he may have got insulinoma if so steroids help for a bit
  2. mark 3 locaters are sound they take a bit of getting used too they could improve them if they had a direction arrow as when you have dug down you sometimes are near to ferret but dont know which part of hole to dig if the price was cheaper for colllers that would be good as well a better shape for locater as well would be fine as they fall out of pocket when digging
  3. you can phone deben up but you have to go through e mail to send back good service though

  8. mark 3 are more accurate and work near to electric cables take more getting used to though
  9. try putting her in with a dominant jill which should stop her biting and when you go to pick her up give a small piece of meat and she will grab this and not your finger also pick another ferret up first she will smell this and not bite and next time get a ferret off someone who is more interested in ferrets and not money
  10. prefer the mark 3 you leave the batteries in and less interfearance near electric wires
  11. bought some permernant set nets 2x 25 yards and 2x 5 yards used them today on the large warrens in the hedgerows we caughy 17 which is a lot for us as we rarely catch doule figures for the record we had 7 in the purse nets 2 dug out and 8 in the long nets 1 rabbit ran in before we had the ferrets down the only downside was we had some rabbits run down the middle of the hedge where the nets couldnt be set and these rabbits got away how do other people stop this happening ps we cant cut through the hedge steve
