    Is it worth fitting one and if so is it easy enough to do it myself or should i send it away? had no real experience with guns apart from shooting them

    I've never worked on a gun before so completely new to it but got an old hw35 for pennies the other day that needs a good bit of tlc, I've decided to send the barrel away to be reblued properly as I couldn't do it to anywhere near the standard I want it the main bit i need help with is the stock. I've been told to use nitromors on it then to scrape off and sand down before putting boiled linseed oil on? can someone tell me if this is right if not could you give me a step by step on how to and what equipment i'll need.     Just recently (today) bought a falcon fn19 .22 there is some slight rust on the barrel and the blueing is pretty faded what should i do to clean it up and get it looking newish again!

    Currently got a hw80k and wanting to upgrade to a PCP just after some advise on what exactly I'll need when I get round to buying one and which guns/models to look at and what to stay away from. My budget is around the £600 mark although I could spend a little more if there is something worth the extra cost! Any advise would be greatly appreciated, cheers!
