  1. One of the small chub from yesterday. Mint fish.
  2. Well folks I covered a 5km stretch of the Aire yesterday without anything substantial. Must have dropped into 15 or so swims with breadflake, one swim produced several small chub upto about 6oz, if the bait was sat longer than a couple of minutes it was mullered by crays. It was good to catch the target species but the big fish are seemingly on holiday. I don't think the bright light helped, I spooked a couple of decent fish with my shadow, probably would have come into it's own near sunset but I didn't have the time. I was atleast happy that I managed to avoid the trout, starting to buil
  3. Good gun I had .22 mk2, very light gun, I think jsb exacts worked best, filled to 180 bar I had 40 very consistent shots.
  4. Makes complete sense to me, natural instinct I reckon. On the subject of hedgehogs they are doing really well around my area at the mo.

  9. They are very efficient in my 99, they run at about 10.8ftlbs, everything else is 10.5 and down

  13. Nice one Walshie. Have you been doing anything inventive with cooking them? I've been doing mine in foil with plenty of salt, pepper and paprika with lemon and tomato slices in the belly

And did you use a primitive type glue or standard epoxy resin? Recently finished my first sheepsfoot file knife and really appreciate the shape of it, safe and useful
  16. I've heard the same about superdomes that they drop off a bit there will be a perfect pellet for it jimmy, my 99 loves Bisley LRG and FAPS but hates normal jsb exacts and h+n ftts un all head sizes!

  18. This really fucks me off- why would we make contact with them? We haven't learned already from native Americans it's only going to be bad news for them, all for tv entertainment ffs.
  19. Nice one DC, did you get them on barbel gear? What baits? I've got some halibut pellets I was thinking of trying out for them...
