  1. Did this recipe last night for some friends and it went down well so I thought I'd share it. Joint up 2 bunnies wack them in the slow cooker. Salt pepper mixed jerbs and 2 stock cubes. Cover completely with hot water, and wack on full power for 8 hours. Let it cool, sieve the stock off and put the drained stock in a big frying pan to reduce with a couple of shots of sloe gin. Pick the rabbit meat clean and put the meat back in the slow cooker, add most of the reduced stock back in to the meat and put the slow cooker on low. The bit of reduced stock left in the frying pan can be r
  2. Not used many frogs, but had some success with buzzbaits, might be worth a shout?
  3. Sounds like you might be chopping and changing too soon lol
  4. Some grew guns by the sound of it then. Will be getting a .22 99 at the next op. I guess the only new thing you would get from a pcp would be something a little lighter and with a mag? Something from the brocock stable might give you something different, I hear good things about them no experience myself though
  5. If you get more than one, it's poaching. If you get one once in a while it's mooching If you don't get it at all your a townie If you get one everytime your a git.
  6. I will answer it NO lol but do you want one? Probably. What springers have you got buddy? There might be a springer out there to fix your pcp wants!
  7. A slow walk. Soak up the fresh air, catty in pocket, ready.
  8. Nice vid Rez! Must admit I didn't believe your words about the drop off at 40 until you shot it, that's mental. What pellets you using? Can I put a request in for a .177 and .22 version of this vid please?

  14. Bargain that mate. Can't blame you for enjoying the springer so much, but that looks one hell of a gun, proper vermin tool. For those that haven't dealt with CC before I have and he was very good to deal with, and a gent.
  15. Those where the days eh! when we both had more time? Recently at a wedding I did my best mans speech and during it mentioned how he has always had good luck and brought up the time I took him lure fishing for his first time. I showed him how to set his rod up and tie his lure on etc and when I turned round to set my own up he shouted im in! I thaught after just one cast he was snagged but after turning round to look he was into one of the biggest canal pike I have ever seen, on his first cast. After a battle walking up and down the canal with it we guessed near 20 lbs. As a surprise fo
  16. Used to go from the fishermans in Bingley all the way to dockfield, same as you I would expect a few jacks atleast with a good chance of a bigger fish, not done it for a while though now
  17. Very generous that, hope it goes to a good home
  18. Tom, I had an 11lber at dockfield on a red and white big S
  19. Liking the 2nd set Jimmy. What's up with those jsb's tho that group is just weird
  20. The Shakespeare big S is well worthy of the lure hall of fame. They used to cost £2.50 when I was a bit younger, and they caught me loads off the canal. They had a mini S that was ideal for trout too. The Salmo jointed minnow in mackerel caught me a ton. Had a few windermere pike on it too. I had a toothy critter spinnerbait that caught me the most pike, it didn't half pull back on the retrieve though!
  21. The ocular lens is for eye relief, and changing the parallax settings shouldn't do anything for mildot aim points? Only magnification does that.
