  1. Hi Pendle, haven't received a pm from you today- I have replied to your pm from the other day but didn't hear anything back? I'll drop you another pm.
  2. He has just sold it for £ to JJM  I'll give you 90 lol Only joking looks like a 50mm lens can't be doing with that 40mm or smaller for me pal You might regret that sale tho Well done jjm!!
  3. Top work jimmy!! You have some patience uploading that many pics bud fair play to you. Looks like you are as accurate no matter what you shoot judging from the pics. Looks like you are getting on with the prosport well too. Nice to see a Simmons whitetail classic. They are bloody lovely scopes.
  4. Hi mate. Pm replied. For other folk, based near Bradford west Yorkshire
  5. Haha this is fireboard jimmy!! No only joking this was 5 layers and a couple got through that.... Oops!! Thank fook for garages
  6. This was very close, 4-5 yards or so, just to check the rifle on the chrono
  7. Chrono'd the rifle tonight into some old plasterboard offcuts. Picked a few out and was pretty impressed with the deformation, though one or two of you lads might be interested to see.
  8. You must really like it now cus it sounds as if your wa***ng it off!! Haha well what can I say I gave her stock and action a good polish down after shooting a couple off
  9. Sorry buddy couldn't resist! Bargain for someone
  10. Thanks lads Tim- had a browse on the vortek site today. Seals look good, spring guides look interesting- had any experience with them? Had her over the chrono tonight, 20 shot string, 834-845 fps, about 11.45FPE avg, so chuffed with that - but found a little trick to help the cocking balance- by cocking with my hand at the usual top of the lever, then once cocked slide my hand down so it butts up against the stock, safe as anything, load pellet, the slide hand back to the top and replace lever. I'm sure that sounded more complicated then it really is!!!
  11. Well she won't be up for sale for atleast another week. Shot her off solid wooden benchrest tonight, no soft rubber etc to cushion the recoil, hand underneath the rosewood cap, levelled my benchrest pb at 98+2 (est) so you know she would be dead on with a monopod/bipod sticks. Can't really winge about cocking really can I after that sort of performance.
  12. Yep. There private commission ones tend to be a little bit pricier.
  13. Air ambulance saved my Dad's life after he had a fall from our house roof. More than happy to donate
  14. Too true mate, that's where I'm stuck. I'm addicted to the prosports consistentcy. I know how she shoots, her firing cycle, I can feel when I've pulled a shot before the pellet hit's the target. The only thing that gets on my nerves is the cocking lever, it's so far back towards the butt that when the lever is fully open is horribly unbalanced, and I hate swapping hands and would rather keep my hand on the lever at all times- literally any other underlever/break barrel would be much easier to cock and load especially standing. Thank fully it doesn't have the annoying bear trap button thin
  15. The prosport is a cracking gun jimmy glad to hear you are getting on with it .177 as well aren't you full of surprises
  16. Nicely done jimmy these gales are a right blag fair play to you for getting out shame about the rifle going over and the pellets. I bet those groups were hard work you've done well there
  17. Thanks gents, was thinking home brewed 99 in .22.... I'm not 100% about selling it yet if I'm being honest. It would be great to keep her and buy the 99, but it's not been a great start to the year cash wise. I'd love to get a tbt kit and a custom seal fitted on a new .99, obvs after a big ol' polish. And screw cut and shortened barrel with silencer.
