  1. Check you out mark, 51yds with the.22, not your usual practice but highly effective. Lovely stuff.
  2. Aachen Soll Ballynagour BalleyCasey £1 each way, there all donkey odds but hey anything could win
  3. P.s. My yearbook mentions on certain stretches that fly, worm and artificial lure only are allowed during the coarse closed season
  4. To be fair fella I didnt throw my view in if you read back. Also the season wasmt questioned or discussed the method was. Im pretty sure an EA officer would question ledgering with an open faced reel with worms. All I advised was to make sure its inline with local bylaws regardong hook size etc to save getting a fine, apologies if that has upset you somehow. Hi fella sorry for any confusion there, I should have mentioned that I had a run in with a home owner who lived on the river bank who I bumped into last year. It was early may and like I say the season for trout was well in. I was fis
  5. I get a bit f****d off when people who don't know the local close season throw there view in there. Around me the trout season starts on the 25th march.
  6. Haha. Yes they are very effective. 'looks a bit like everything and exactly like nothing' A true catching fly. I do like a little klink too, very effective again. They don't cast as well as the f-fly I find.
  7. Bit of roundup on them tiles jimmy and that plant is looking a bit shabby Stain I coming on well though
  8. Only from what I've heard, but because it faces away from the sun it's quite a cold unproductive water, atleast for fly fishing. I did hear of lads pulling out char on maggots and legering gear. Not my cup of tea on a nice Lakeland tarn though.
  9. Liking the driftwood effect Jimmy!! Interested to see this finished Have you ever dyed a stock mate I was thinking a hunter green on the 99...
  10. Money has been received, thanks Jason. Will let you know when it's in the post
  11. Not redtarn. Hayeswater yes. Sprinkling tarn is a cracker if you have the legs for it. Stickle tarn is great too, but can get a little busy
  12. Wouldn't mind a .25 springer at all An old boy at my range has just got a .25 springer, it is some sort of bsa airsporter or something. Fitted out with a 4x32 trujicon, right little outfit. The other guns he has are all .177, hw100, daystate, impact and the like, so I was pretty impressed when he turned up with it. Much to my delight he says it's devastating on the bunnies
  13. Good test that. Faps doing well, reckon they might open up a wee bit more at longer range though. Bis mags doing well! Not sure if it's my eyes but ftt's look pretty tight?
  14. You cheeky feck Nowt wrong with my year old tiles and 1st gen pvc windows hahaha
  15. Hi Jason, yes it will fit .22 airgun, but your gun will need a 1/2 inch unf thread on the barrel, I will call shortly just leaving work
  16. Cool. Just a thought, the heavy .177 will have a lot of pentration. The light .22 won't, and it will slow down fast causing more trauma and knock down power. Edit: Just read that last bit of your recent post, looks like we are both thinking the same
  17. As above excellent condition, bought from vizlauk Sean planned to get my hw99s screw cut until I got quoted £65 plus poatage from the gunsmith!! It hasn't been used since I bought it just looking to claw some money back from it. I paid £40 posted selling it for £35 posted (signed for) Cheers Jonnie
  18. That is ttf nick- do you mean over the top?
  19. Brill post, cheers for taking the time Simon. I think that is it, everyone who I have seen not getting along with the hw80 have been trying it in sub 12 FPE format. I really want an FAC now though!!
  20. It wouldn't surprise me if you made up that whole duck for this Mark Very good
  21. Well impressed with the clean up job there fella. Nicely done
  22. Bloomin Eck jimmy. Sounded like a steep learning curve bud! I like a front end heavy springer. Well I say front end I mean that the gun balances nicely on the forend hand. I love break barrels for loading, no doubt. I should probably try a hw98!! Just don't like that stock.
