  5. I cant put pictures on here for some reason
  6. Ive got a wheaten/whippet/greyhound bitch, 21tts rough coated and im putting her to my friends 5/8x3/8 wheaten/greyhound he stands at 25tts rough coated. My bitch isnt due in season til december, i tried mating her a couple of weeks ago but i just missed her so im waiting til next time shes in season!
  7. Either a first cross beddy/greyhound or a first cross wheaten/greyhound!!! Thats what i intend to put across her!!!
  8. Im interested in the pair and they would get as much bushing as they could handle.
  9. I never thought it would be this hard to aquire a greyhound bitch in order to breed some lurchers!!! I first had the idea about 5-6 years ago when my old lurcher bitch had to be put to sleep due to cancer. After many years of thought i finally decided to breed my own lurchers from a retired racing greyhound bitch and after extensive searching i cant find a bitch that hasnt been spayed!!!! If anyone knows of anybody with a greyhound bitch that hasnt been spayed that needs re-homing please reply to this or pm me! I must stress that the greyhound bitch will be cared for and looked after long afte
  10. I would meet up with you alan when you decide to go if you like??? Where are you travelling from???
  11. There is 2-3 swims for early season in my opinion, down the right hand side, 2nd to last peg before the corner and put a rod tight to the bush thats right in the corner, you could go on that very peg but you will be right on top of the bush so thats why i go the peg before it and make a very short flick out!!! The "knuckle" is a good producer early season, cast to the overhanging willow tree, ideally you would want to be aiming for about 3-5 foot to the side of the overhanging willow tree and about 6-8 foot past it. Or anywere in the "cove". The margins produce some very nice fish in the late
  12. Urgently wanted a wheaten/greyhound dog to cover my wheaten/whippet/greyhound bitch. Shes rough haired, 4year old and a cracking little grafter. Shes stopped bleeding now so this is s matter of urgency. Any takers?????
  13. In my opinion a 7-8 year old bitch is to old to breed from but thats just my opinion! What area are you in??? As im in hull and i know of a litter of bull x's. The mother is a first cross and the father is a quarter bred, making the pups 5/8 greyhound x 3/8 bull, excellent working parents.
  14. 20-25 miles. Its worth the travel mate, ive had my last 2 personal best out of that place also my biggest grass carp and the best 6 hours fishing ever which included carp upto 17lb10oz and a total weight of 177lb of carp in 6 hours. That was october of 2005, i was fishing 2 rods exactly the same set-up, bait and swim but was only catching on my right hand side rod, the other didnt even produce a beep. My friend was in the next peg and blanked!!! My pb grass carp is 14lb2oz, my pb carp is a mirror of 21lb8oz and my 2nd pb which took around 6years to break was a stunning common of 18lb6oz. All
  15. A half-cross to a half-cross will never produce a full breed of any of the 2 types, the only way to get a genuine full breed is a dam and sire of the same breed. A first cross to a first cross has the potential to throw more like one or the other breeds but in actual fact the D.N.A and the genetics will NOT be that of a genuine full breed!!! For example-: if you put a half border collie x half greyhound on another half border collie x half greyhound....there is absolutely no chance of any of the pups becoming either a full greyhound or full border collie!!! Or maybe ive got it totally wrong!!!
