    My mate has a howa 1500 stainless with a laminate stock (not varmint barrel). It is bullet on bullet at 100yds with hornady 40gr v-max. A very nice gun that knocks big holes in foxes.

    If you've got .22lr, FAC air is a waste of time. Get some 35ft/lb bulets (CCI 29gr 710fps), these will do what a good FAC air rifle will do without spending hundreds of pounds. Edit: It will probably be quieter too with a half decent mod.

    The is a good choice if you are going to go FAC with it. The 95 is better if you're staying sub 12ft/lb. Both very similar guns, but the is a bit "bulkier" to take a bit more power with ease.

    They shoot roos from a chopper. You'd need a damn good pilot to hold it steady to take a bunny.

    Get what you feel comfortable with, but shop around, those prices are not too keen. £620 for a T3 Hunter is £70 over priced.

    It's all about precision. My mate took a rabbit at 312yds with a 9x mag. He had to wait until it turned side-on so that the cross hairs didn't "blank it out". It would have been so much easier with a 16 or 20x.

    The original 95k had a muzzle weight (pictured). They stopped adding a muzzle weight, and threaded them. They were sold as the 95 with HW mod fitted. The gun with the mod fitted was quite long, so they released a "k" version again around a year ago with a shorter barrel and still with the mod fitted. I have the 95 with mod (the long one).

    I love rat shooting. I use .22lr with 35ft/lb bullets or air rifle with .22 RWS super H points.

    I use a 3-9x40 on my .22lr. It is set on 9x all the time. I can usually hold plenty steady enough, but there is often a fence, gate or wall to lean on near by. My best shot (not furthest) was a head shot on a woody at 89yds. I doubt I could pull off precision shots like that on 3x mag.

    I also use a Browning semi-auto. Don't you find a right handed bolt a pain? I also have a left hand CZ 452 .22lr.
