  1. Tried that on my T-bolt, it looked awful, way to high once added to the weaver mounts! I can't understand why no one imports the correct `bolt on the receiver` mounts for the T-Bolt? I've see straight, but no forward / backward reach ones!
  2. Brought 200 CCI Mini-Mag @ £8.50 per 100. Had a go at the club last night and they out performed Eley Club which were £6.50 per 50!
  3. Discuss with your FEO. I have 1000 solid and 1000 expanding.
  4. Off to the Rochester Dickens Festival. There's a gunshop who doesn't sell Eley. Time to try something new! Maybe my 10 shot magazine will stop sticking / filling with way!
  5. Join a shooting club. Mine allows .22lr from 8 years old.
  6. Yep, best check with your FEO. I have a 10 gun vault, called FEO who came out and wrote `good for 15` on his paperwork.
  7. I'm afraid in this day and age the exact location is not published on the web site. If you fill in the enquiry form with an address / email, a map / location will be provided. Just keeps those who are anti from turning up unannounced without first enquirying.
  8. The new web sites up and running ;-) http://www.maidstonepistolclub.co.uk/
  9. My advise would be to go online and find your licensing police force. Contact your area FEO officer and have a chat ;-)

  11. Took the new Howa 1500 .308 to Bisley yesterday. Some lousy weather, but the shooting was great as usual. The Howa proformed beautifully! Using PPU FMJ BT 175gr it only took 3 or 4 shots to get a `V` bull on the 100 yard range. Very pleased with my new rifle, now for 600 yard the new year and push the range in the spring!
  12. been self employed for 23 years rezyou need a GOOD accountant if you know what i mean atb si Yep, 4 years self employed. Never paid any tax or NI just a good accountant!
  13. Had the same. I used plumbing silicon grease, not leaked since. Failing that, a good gun deserves a good gun shop for a service.
  14. I had the same approach, 'only shoot what I would eat'. I found I was being turned down as nearly all land owners aren't interested in your 'pot' filling. All my permissions required many hours of time as the land owner wants to see a reduction in rabbits/pigeon numbers. I get calls at silly o'clock to shoot foxes, if you can't show some sort of dedication, you'll lose out on some permissions.
  15. I had one .22lr on an open ticket, no reference as to bolt or semi. I asked for another .22lr for target, again I did not specify bolt or semi. I now have slots for two 22lr, neither are specific as to type, both are on an open ticket for vermin both for target, both for expanding ammunition.
  16. quite right too, at sensible range, they will do what you require I'm in Kent and have my hmr conditioned for fox, good to see other forces doing the same. Yep, me to!

  18. You must be local to me? I get regular calls for fox, there seems to be an abundance at the moment on farms in Medway and the surrounding area.

  20. I only sell what can't be broken, such as a pair of weightlifting weights I recently sold. Even then posted sign for and insured at the buyer expense.
  21. Just culling in North Kent, nothing for meat. Even the ones I've taken to gut have shown signs of myx once opened.
  22. Out for a while now HW100ST (synthetic stock) http://www.solware.co.uk/weihrauch-hw100-synthetic-tactical
