Passed on a 250cc over 30 years ago. No messing about back then! ;-)

They have to change their life style because you don't like it, and you call them selfish? A very 1980s attitude. There's not correct place to smoke around children who can't defend themselves. So its `their` house, it's also their grandchildren and as such their grandchildrens welfare should take precedence over their outdated and cariogenic habit.

Storage Of Pellets When Out In The Field?
David Aiken replied to patterdale's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I brought 3 extra magazines for my HW100s. Including the two which came with it that's 70 shots. Plenty for a day hunting and no fiddling to reload. I keep the magazines in a small camera case. -
After 3 years of use, I wish I`d got my HW100s in .177 instead of .22!

Welcome! Nice bit of kit you have there

When applying for a variation to a FAC do you send all three parts of your FAC with your application? I asked a RFD they didn't know.

Not had a chance to use on the Moon yet!

While I wholeheartedly agree with you on the `Good on him for not conforming to the politically correct brigade`. I can not agree with this person being a role model for the young and an ambassador for their sport, which is part of the role of any `sports personality of the year` Comments like “a woman’s best place is in the kitchen and on her back”. are misguided and out of date. One's political correctness views are not necessary, we all know the statement to be offencive!

Nope! It's not! Here is the proposal all the way from the EU. Not law yet ;-) A ban on private ownership of all semi-automatic firearms, even when not military-style: all of them, pistols, rifles and shotguns, centerfire or rimfire. Declare magazines and other components as "fundamental parts", making them available only to licensed gun owners, contradicting the 2008/51/CE directive. Capacity limitation for all magazines (without further specifications). Limitation, by type and quantity, of ammunition that can be purchased and detained by private citizens. A ban on Internet sales o

Practical Shotgun: Vary A Firearm Certificate:
David Aiken replied to David Aiken's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I've heard this. Can't understand how a 3 shot shotgun is fine, but 5+1 is like asking for the crown jewels! I mean, I have a firearms certificate and a 10 shot .22lr! -
Practical Shotgun: Vary A Firearm Certificate:
David Aiken replied to David Aiken's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Yep, every last bit! Even one which is between two other permissions I already had! -
I`m hoping to take up practical shotgun, there's not much space on the `application to vary a firearm certificate` form 202 for a `good reason` Is `practical shotgun` all I need to write? Is 250 rounds of 12g slug an expectable amount of slug ammo? Also I'm still turning down random .22lr shooting as the land owners wont rabbits shot there and then with out the rigmarole of a FLO visit, as I have 5 permissions now, should I apply for my ticket to be `open`? at the same time? Do I just enclose a letter with my `application to vary a firearm certificate` form 202? Thanks all! ;-)

I did start off having it for "special" occasions. As these are few and far between i now use it daily for all sorts of rough shooting including ratting. Unlike the £70 one which needed a new zip fitted after a month, it's still in fine condition a year later!! ;-)

I guess it will depend on your budget? I`ve three shooting jackets. One £70 one £240 and one over £400. Just for a change the £400 is worth the money and by far the best!
