  1. i wrote this ages ago? Its not a fantasy. I'm not posting any more write ups from my shoots anymore. This is beyond a joke.
  2. I did date it, i didnt take pictures as it was late and dark, this is just a write up... i dont really want hate from anyone saying "This didnt happen" and such. If you werent there then clearly you cant say it didnt happen...
  3. Out of interest. What are you using the nitesite for? Woodys or ferrals? The team use it for ferrels, i use it rarely because i get only so many days off XD but when i do its Ferrels, dont normally do woodys... too hard for me XD
  4. im just part of a local team... id much rather you didnt try to educate me with "Witty" comments...
  5. Read the other posts he's been puuting up about the forums. He's already tried giving very dodgy 'advice' on the airgun forum to people who've been shooting for years before he was born. He's the apparent spokesman for a "team" calling themselves "How To Hunting". Yet his profile says he's only been out shooting with an air rifle a couple of times. I can respect any kid wanting to go out and get some permission and write up about his shooting. But this lad is coming over as a Walter Mitty sort and insults peoples' inteligence.. Excuse me... its not my team, im just a new member who
  6. Just because they carry disease and such mate ahaha and its better that calling it "The kill count" or whatever haha
  7. im generally interested... this isnt for the team its personal
  8. More like Bronze... On a cold friday night around 9:30pm, me and 1 other team member had been contacted to take out the un-wanted residents at a shed, the shed was mainly used to store "muck spreaders" and only briefly held livestock (when needed to) in winter months. The two of us loaded the S410's 10 shot clip and creeped up towards our fortress door. Operation "night-night" was go. As we walked the road/path to the shed we noticed as we got closer more and more pigeons were flying out! We stalled ourselves and waited, but everytime we got closer more flew out. This was a total unexpected
  9. Cheers guys for the positive feed back, but it was a team effort, i only put it in the pigeon shooting section because i didnt realise there was an air gun section for a write up haha. Thankyou very much for reading and enjoying and id love some tips if anyone has any?
  10. GOLD! We hit gold on the 28th of March when a local farmer asked for our assistance in denting the population of a derelict shed and derelict house filled with ferells, so we walked the quarter of a mile road from the gate we pulled up at to our destination, 4 guns out of the 6 ready huntsmen, our thoughts were 2 guns can lead one side of the shed and 1 gun in the shed and 1 gun on the other side of a smaller open plan, all shooting north for safety in a (more or less) straight line, radios and signal calls learnt for contact with a 5 minute break to pick up and talk between, on this days sho
  11. So the other day, my friend at how to hunting invites me to this farmers land to make a dent in his ferrel pigeon population, 100 or more he said! well i jumped at the chance. We set off on a winters snowy day at about 3 so we could catch light and we set up in no less than an hour. Camp soon got dark and we found the torches and nitesite very useful at this point, we set up our 177 and 22 and got popping!! we collected 40 head or so in the first 3 hours!! We hadnt had a day like this in a long time... as we reloaded we noticed that our food was missing we had brought, following a small, in
  12. Unpaid local lads, Is there anywhere I and maybe 1 other person can go shooting ferrel pigeons on farmland/sheds/housing. We take great care and use accurate equipment to avoid property damage. We are fully trained on gun safety. We take pride and care wherever available. Please contact if available! Requirments: Must be in the Driffield/Bridlington local area, will not travel further currently. Not looking for 1 or 2 pigeons, would like to avarage 13/18 for the days work
  13. If someone could give an insight to this hunting sport We at How To Hunting would be grateful! -How to hunting.
  14. Hey guys. Heres a note, normally we take my gun dog, Daisy (Springer spaniel) and she picks up as its quieter and she's way more sly than me (or the others) trodging through the crispy leaves and wooden branches to pick up, because its more quieter i can see (from comparison) its so much more tactical to do so as we can get way more on the head count. Just wanted to ask... What would be a good way of "luring" pigeons over, we're using a nitesite and superlite air arms S410 with accurate scope but after 4/5 shots we have to wait a good few hours before we can become active again! Feels like
