I was thinking about you the other day. Something you may or may not have tried. Few years back I bought some beef which I corned with some success. Well, after the festive I had a fair big joint of ham and thought, why not. Sat there with my fork and managed to corn a goodly amount. Just followed the grain and pulled it apart. The resulting pie was a masterpiece, if I say so myself. Onion, mushroom, normal mix of herbs and salt/pepper and thick cream. The pastry was to die for. Well, we had it hot day 1 and cold day 2. Not sure which was the better. The lovely one wants another asap. Jok.
