    Lime tree logs

Lime blanks are sought after among wood turners. The brain is, by and large, fairly straight., great for large bowls.example. Jok.
  2. Mr Moocher. Have you gone through all the tests? Fck me they seem endless and I know that is not about to change. They reckon on laser surgery whilst on local anisthetic. Anyone getting near my eyes would certainly not be standing. Jok.
  3. Well guys and girls. Having been around weapons for one reason or another, involved with hunting and fishing ,playing contact sports and generally leading a full on life, this has come as a bit of a shock. Seeing things double, not able to focus, losing the first letter or digit in a sentence is not to be recommended. They hope that an operation will sort it out so am awaiting a date. Quite scary really as your sight deteriorates. Not only that, driving might be an issue. Jok.
  4. I’ve just had an altercation with my neighbour on similar grounds. Last week had my workshop re roofed and ended up with some delaminted roof sheets. Didn’t do anything about them as my neighbour had washing out, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weather was coming in so decided on a burning on Monday. Wind was bang on so I lit it. Now we are not talking bonfires here but an litre garden dustbin. Dry asa bone and no smoke to speak of. What a round of fcks I had, over the fence. Well, being a true gentleman I apologised and fetched a chair to make sure the dustbin fire didn’t rage. Gave it a bit o
  5. I wish the idiots lived next to me. They could watch me cutting up a carcass. Listen to the bonesaw, watch as the detritus leaves my place and then smell the cooking. I’d invite them round for a drink, then as they arrived, politely tell them to take a hike. What a bunch of retinas. Jok.
  6. Sadly my days of going to London are long gone. I hate the place. I’ll be looking around the Midlands. Jok.
  7. New Kid. What a lovely presentation. It took me a minute or two to work out mirrored meals ffs. The last time I had Sushi was in the Middle East and loved it. TBF I don’t know of any resteraunts close to home who do this. Might be search coming on. Jok.
  8. When in Rome. Jok.
  9. I’ll admit to having eaten tree rats on many occasions. I used to make a selection of game pies with squirrel included. To be fair one gave about half as much as a rabbit so I used 2. Not a bad taste either. Jok.
  10. Bit too late for me. Trying my dambnest to get the consultant to make even a telephone appointment. I understand that my PSA has reduced from 10.5 to 9 but that is not really reassuring. Not having too much of a problem through the night but generally flow is not very good. Apparantely I’m with holding about 400mm but considering the amount I consume that’s hardly surprising. I am 70. Just as an aside, having read you post on nettle tea, I have spent the last couple of hours researching a bit more. It was very enlightening and I am going to check that it will not affect any meds I’m taking fo

  14. A good pal has a 7 year old , well bred and fully papered, ESS who he wishes to breed with. He is not interested in fees or pup sales only to have a pup from the match. He lives in the midlands and has asked me for help. Anyone on here willing to assist? Jok.
  15. Just as a follow up. Where have all the contributors gone and why? Jok.
  16. Well Wolfie. The same thought has crossed my mind for a number of weeks now. You ar, possibly, the most interesting person posting at the moment. I open the forum religiously morning and evening anticipating a good old conversation.. Thing is, over here the whole hunting scene appears to have changed. Before you came on here, I was selling ferret boxes literally all over the world, which promoted lots of conversation. Out of the blue the decimation of rabbit population in the Uk seems to have halted all manner of field sports. Also , just walking your dog is seen asa threat to wildlife. Times

    Snooker

I know it’s illogical, but seeing as how Dave lives near me and has the local snooker club, Potters, I’m having a punt on him. Jok.

    Snooker

Topical only. Not too long back I played Ken Docherty. There was a question which he resolved by saying, in front of a fairly big audience, the referees decision is final. It was over a free ball decision. I still think that Ronnie could not pot that red, did not play away because of consideration but in fact realised he should not take the shot because of the risk. He is no Angel and would do anything to win. IMO.

Well Charts I totally disagree with that assumption. He even argued with the ref after she flattened the ‘divot’ to allow the black no movement. The commentator suggested that Bingham didn’t want to get involved letting The Rocket be the best judge. What a load of bollocks. Why do we have referees? The answer is fairly straightforward. TO MAKE DECISIONS. Jok.
