But what if he hasn't got a Norwegian forest to keep it in? ?

I was quiver tipping for carp and barbel yesterday on the River Charente that is gin clear much of the time. Two very big stripies cruised through the swim just after I had cast the quiver rod out and just before I set up the float rod with worm bait to fish the margins ? They never showed again.

Had he got a mate called Phil McCavity?

He's got another alias ready. He'll be Lukeing in Fielding some more schite anytime soon ?

You are right. These days they are more likely to re-locate the protected species. The area I was talking about is an old park that was formerly the domain of a noble family who themselves re-located to North Yorkshire. The park itself was under protection by English Heritage and the highways dept wanted to shave a bit off for the by-pass. I think the newts discovery was the straw that broke the camel's back. The residents, EH and campaign groups all contributed.

Now there's an idea. There was a proposal to route the A631 through some land that I had permission on. The alternative route would have gone through a golf course so they engaged expensive lawyers. Strangely enough the council were anonymously tipped off about such newts in a small pond on the shoot. They re-surveyed the area and found some. Must have missed them first time around. Road never got built. Coincidentally there is a small population of great crested newts in a little pond near where I used to live.

Have you heard of Wintersett Reservoir? In my opinion much better than Pugneys Water Park and not too far away. Fish it near the boat house or on the measure mark bank where the water is deeper. Cold Hiendley Reservoir, smaller and next to Wintersett is also a good place.

Depends what you term as meddling and whether you lump all African nationals in one box or seperate them into nationalities. And as expected, you have not given anything to support your statements. I doubt that you will. Empty vessels and all that.
-
Let's put the ball in your court as you are the one making the allegations. List the numbers of middle east immigrants by nationality and whether you claim that we have meddled in those countries or not. Over to you. I don't expect for a minute that you will.
-
If you take out the Syrians, Iranians and Turks plus all the other countries in the middle east where we havd had no involvement, the middle east contingent is far less than you would like to portray.
-
I used to fish it for trout. I had a fishfinder when boat fishing and there were some big lumps showed up. The area near the bridge leading from Sheffield towards Manchester was a small bay off to the right that looked like trees had been felled and the stumps left before flooding the valley. That was full of big fish lurking in the roots, 30 feet down. No pike fishing in those days though.

I published the stats yesterday. Well over 3/4 of those who came illegally are from areas where the UK has not been involved. And that includes Syria no matter what you are trying to make out to the contrary.
-
No. Because the UK hasn't messed in Albania, Romania, Africa or Asia yet still they come. Trying to twist the Syria agreement into something to support your statement cannot apply to all those other countries.
-
You said that the illegal immigrants were caused by us meddling in their countries. We haven't meddled in the countries listed by the government stats including Syria.
-
The problems go a bit deeper than immigration though. Ever since the 80's we have an increasing number of home grown dole wallahs and no solution to that. Its not all down to immigration.

The scheme that greb found on the internet is nothing to do with the number of Syrians travelling to Britain illegally. You yourself have stated that humanitarian and charitable acts are what makes Britain great. That is purely what it is. Unfortunately we have greb trolling again. Making up things to inflame the situation. He always starts out the same; denying who he is and acting in a restrained manner. Within24 hiurs he is sniping, trolling and causing trouble. The refugee agreement came almost a decade after the brutality in Syria started and as shown in my previous post, many

Just a few more than Cyprus have taken. What you are not grasping was that the Syrian situation was a catastrophy involving millions. Over 2 million have fled to neighbouring countries. The ones who are to be resettled in the UK will have been checked and verified whereas, as has been mentioned, the ones coming in by dinghies areas unaccountable as you. If you call offering sanctuary to selected people displaced by war as meddling in that country then you seem to be detached from reality.

You can outrun a bullet? ?

Whether you like it or not the UK has spent £billions on foreign aid and still do. If you don't agree with it, and I have the same reservations, then vote for a party that will promise to spend more of your taxes at home. Please explain how an agreement to home some refugees has resulted in tens of thousands of other Syrians to up sticks and hesd for the UK with no agreement to accept or house them? But before you make a fool of yourself have a look at this Major Syrian refugee-hosting countries worldwide 2020 | Statista WWW.STATISTA.COM In

If you recall the UK stopped any plans to intervene at Syria down mainly to its sheer size and the Russian involvement on Assad's side. The Russian who oversaw the most cruel atrocities in Syria is now in charge of the military involved in Ukraine.

What began as protests against President Assad's regime in 2011 quickly escalated into a full-scale war between the Syrian government—backed by Russia and Iran—and anti-government rebel groups—backed by the United States, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and others in the region. https://www.cfr.org/global-conflict-tracker/conflict/conflict-syria#:~:text=What began as protests against, and others in the region Alongside our support for diplomatic efforts to end the violence, the UK has alleviated suffering by committing £2.81 billion of humanitarian aid to the Syria Crisis since 2012, our larges

Taken from tge Government's web site Nationality of asylum seekers and refugees In 2021, 43% were nationals of Middle Eastern countries, 28% of asylum applicants were nationals of African countries, 18% were nationals of Asian countries, and 12% were from Europe. Between 2014 and 2021, nearly 28,000 people were resettled to the UK, mainly from Syria and the surrounding region. Resettlement accounted for around 19% of the people granted humanitarian protection in the UK since 2014. https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn01403/ I don't remember

You should have asked them to join you and swell your numbers. ? Seriously, I sense that this issue might just get addressed better in the next few weeks. Government on the ropes, !iebour well ahead in the polls and ministers becoming a figure of fun. I sense that this could be Rishie's Falklands moment. Talking of the Falklands. Don't they need more population? ?

If you have any proof of the above then publish it on here. You won't because there is none. There are around thirty members on here who took delivery of traps from me including some who collected in person. Who have you met from on here? Who can vouch for you? Now, if we want to discuss truth and honesty we only need to read your many denials of your previous user names, the claims that you have made about your hunting experience, dogs owned, placss you live, ect., etc. The cosying up to that bloke regards wild cats to troll up dirt on greyman that you then spread on here.
