  2. Yes they are, you don't see many about that actually work, I was very surprised with how commited these dogs are.
  3. Iv got an Italian spinone, got a cracking nose on her will trail like a hound n yaps when it's in sight, stands at 24"tts but will get in any cover on scent. Very head strong and You can tell there was a lot of hound in this breeds makeup, but very sensitive, if you gave it a tap it will never forget. Have thought about puttin a smaller dog even a Russell or beagle Russell over her to bring the size down a lot.
  4. Are you still looking for a ifor williams canopy? Pm me if you are as I have one.
  5. Thanks somewereyournot. I wasn't going to even bother with a drain as the kennels are miles away and down hill from the main drain, think I'll just dog a big soakaway further down the garden and run it to that. It's very rare that the dogs ever pee or poo in the kennel probably once or twice in the last 12 months so it's no biggie. Thanks for all advice.
  6. Any chance people could post pics? As im starting mine next month n would like a few diff ideas. Thanks
  7. Go on britishdog.net n you can trial them if your too tight to buy one lol.

  10. There's one in Derby, £50 for a vasectomy n £27 for castration mate.
  11. Sorry to hear it mate. Same happened to me 18 months ago dog got run over I ended up paying 6 grand out in vet bills as wasn't insured and didn't have the heart to pts and then he ended up dyin 6 month ago from an infection on his lung from the accident. Was absolutely devastated.
  12. As long as you get a "life cover" it will keep payin any on going treatments for the dogs whole life.
  13. I'm with asda for my lurcher they paid out straight away direct to the vet. Couldn't complain at all about them. Had the superior platinum life cover n was only £17 a month. It just says as long as your not using the dog for coursing but they not to know what the dog is bein used for.
  14. I have had it twice in the last year but never before in the 10 years Iv had ferrets. It killed one of my jills last year. She got an infection from it n it sent her brain dead n lame.

  16. Very smart dog northenlite. Is he a half X beddy grey?
  17. I had 2 tumblers, sadly only 1 now as lost one last year at just 22 month old. He was out of Jeffs steamer X merlin eve coursing type dog. Very promising and very game dog, was doin everythin I asked of him and more. Sadly only had a very short working life. If I could get another like him I would have one today. Ill upload a pic if someone tells me how to?
  18. Try an electric training collar if used properly and the dog is properly conditioned to it before use you should get more or less instant results. I bought the sportdog collar for a very head strong dog I had. Only used it for a week or 2 n didn't have a problem after that n didn't need the collar on anymore.
  19. I would check the pump and see if there is air in that. And if it's still running if it is a pumped system? You can also try putting a hose pipe on a drain of valve near one of the rads and pull water through that when the heating is on. That will drag a surge of water from the boiler out clearing any air locks in the system. Hope this helps
  20. What's the white dog done? Is it good with other dogs?
